The Club's Christmas Party & Presentations is on Sunday 15 December from noon at the GCTTA Centre. Members and their families & friends are invited to attend! Cost: Adults - $10 / Kids - $5 (Payment on the day, EFT preferred) Platters of finger food incl. basic drinks & tea/coffee. *BYO DRINKS* Members who will be attending to please write your name and number of guests on the provided sheet located on the foyer noticeboard or alternatively contact the Club. Bathroom Amenities Project

CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT! The Club received funding through the QLD Govt Dept of Sport to construct new changerooms and undertake major renovation to upgrade the centre’s toilet amenities. GCTTA would like to acknowledge The Queensland Government for funding this project, continuing to support the sport of table tennis in the community! 2024 State of Origin Series

QLD (Gold Coast) v NSW (Tweed) The 2024 SOO match wrapped up with Rd 2 being played on the Sunday 24 Nov at the GCTTA Centre. Here is the Summary of Results from Round 2: Div 1: GC 5 - Tweed 6 Div 2: GC 8 - Tweed 3 Div 3: GC 4 - Tweed 7 Div 4: GC 8 - Tweed 3 Div 5: GC 9 - Tweed 2 Rd 1 Result: TWEED 1 - GC 3 Rd 2 Result: GC 3 - TWEED 2 Overall match result was QLD 6 - NSW 3, with GC retaining the Trophy. Well done to the participants over the two match days & thank you all for your support!

2024 GCTTA AGM

The 2024 Annual General Meeting of The GCTTA Inc. was held at the centre on the Tuesday 12th November. Thank you to all the Members in attendance and those who completed voting motion forms. SOCIAL SENIORS

Come along for an enjoyable session of social seniors and casual table tennis play, on every Friday and now on Wednesdays! Friday morning doubles: 9am-12pm | Social: 12pm-4pm Fee: $6 per person • Friendly and welcoming environment • Access to quality table tennis equipment • Opportunity to meet new people and make friends • Relaxed and casual gameplay • Light refreshments provided No booking required. Community Projects Program

The Club was successful with being awarded a community grant from the City of Gold Coast as part of the 2024/25 Community Projects Program funding to purchase new Table Tennis Tables. The Club would like to say thanks and much appreciation to all personnel who worked on the installation of the new table tops. Gold Coast Table Tennis would like to acknowledge and thank the City of Gold Coast for the project funding!

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of "The Club Matriarch" Agnes Herbertson on 7th February 2024 at age 94.
