Usually there are about four coaches teaching 15 Juniors.
The coaches are Georgy, Lucas, Bert, Gavin, Peter and Cathy. Each teaching a different aspect of the game. But more than just teaching, there is dialogue between the coaches and their students. While coaching is a serious affair, there are plenty of smiles and laughs going around too. The atmosphere is relaxed.

The importance of coaching cannot be underestimated. There are scores of adult players in our club who wish they had been coached as juniors. Unfortunately, they learnt faulty, cumbersome, incorrect methods from other players. Faulty technique take enormous amounts of work to unlearn. If correct technique is learnt as a junior, the correct strokes are the perfect building blocks for being a top player.
